Caio Magalhães has dedicated his entire life to martial arts. A professional MMA fighter, he fought in the UFC seven times, winning 4 times inside the Octagon, and captured 3 Brazilian MMA Championships along the way. Fighting for M-1 Global, he took part in one of the promotion's most talked-about wars on Russian soil.

On the mats, Caio is a 4th degree BJJ black belt with a competition résumé to match: a 2-time World BJJ Champion at blue and purple belt, a Brazilian National Champion at black belt (IBJJF), and a No-Gi Pan American black belt champion.

Today, Caio is one of the key coaches at Teixeira MMA & Fitness — home to Glover Teixeira and Alex Pereira — where he coaches fighters and BJJ practitioners alike. He is also the BJJ coach of the founder of Mat Ethos, and one of the key figures behind the brand's foundation. Caio embodies the Mat Ethos mindset in everything he does — a true martial artist who has inspired countless people to become their best selves through martial arts.

It was Caio who coined the phrase that's become a cornerstone of the brand: "Train Hard, Life's Easy." The idea is simple — the harder you train, the lighter everything else in life feels.
